So we made it to Thailand!!! we spent our first three days in Bangkok. We stayed with Bee, Scott, and Tailek. They run a guest house. They are so great and Tailek is the cutest little boy i have ever seen besides my nephews! Bee made dinner one night and it was delicious! we went with her to the market with her to get all the goods. that was a lot of fun! that night random people showed up and ate as well. there were 3 Germans, 1 British boy, 1 Dutch fella, 1 Italian, 3 Thai, and 2 boring american! haha Allyson and i sat there talking to all these people and realized we aren't as adventurous as we thought:-) The Italian boy had been traveling for 5 years, a German boy was planning on being out for the next 11 months, English boy had like a year plan to travel (i believe i have a pair of shoes older then him), and most of the others has similar situations. When they asked us how long we were on Holiday and we said two week we could see in their eyes the disappointment they had in our adventure. We went to a very large outdoor market and got lost in the biggest outdoor pet store! it was stinky and crazy... We also went to the grand palace, that was cool to see but i get bored at those sorts of things after too long. Before we went to that we got scammed into doing this boat ride through the old city of Bangkok. It was cool but we are suckers and payed WAY too much for it. There has only been a couple times that we feel we got scammed.... other then those two times the people here are very very nice. They aren't bugging you to buy their stuff they just let you look and walk away which is very nice... oh wait there was one guy that got me to buy some sunglasses but i like them so thats ok:-) We went and got a Thai massage that was more like forced yoga! it was so intense! i wanted to cry or at least scream a few times. At the end i had a pounding headache!
Here are a few pictures of the time in Bangkok
This is Bee and Tailek

Poor guy couldn't move. I always wonder how long their shifts are! his eyes are blood shot so i am thinking he was a bit sleepy.
We had to dress modest to go in the grand palace so this is
